FAQ
Who writes your courses and where does the material come from?
The learning material is written by our highly experienced team of scriptwriters who are advised by consultative specialists. Our courses are taken by thousands of learners from over forty authorities and are based on the latest government guidelines. For example, our CWDC Induction suite was originally commissioned by Manchester City Council and is used by thousands of practitioners in and around Manchester.
Do you provide classroom training?
No. All our courses are internet-based – our courses do not involve any face to face sessions with a trainer.
Can we purchase the courses and place them into our own LMS?
Yes. If you have your own Learning Management System (LMS), you can implement our SCORM compliant courses. Please contact us with details for a customized learning experience.
Do I receive training notes after course completion?
If desired, you are able print each page of an online course. However, as you have access to a course for a year, (more if you extend your license) you can revisit the course at any time.

What do our online courses consist of?
A course can contain any number of the following elements:
- An Introduction: A virtual trainer who explains how the course is broken down.
- Overview: Every course contains a series of slides outlining key aspects of the subject matter. Each overview is comprised of 15 to 30 interactive slides with each taking around 30 to 60 seconds to complete.
- Demonstration: A video outlining how to navigate your specific course computer system.
- Practice: An interactive tutorial that asks the learner to simulate what they have just been taught.
- Learning Games: Learners are asked questions based on the material discussed in the overview. Each question has a time limit of 20 seconds to answer each question and learners must answer every question correctly before moving onto the next section.
- Scenarios: These help learners place what they have learned into practice.
- FAQs: Frequently Asked Questions about the subject matter.
- Documents: Additional guidance that can be downloaded.
- Quiz: A final quiz based on the course material. Each quiz has a 80% pass rate which when achieved, will award the learner with a competition and certificate.
