Duty of care is an important component that provides responsibility for the care of individuals in many different roles.
In this short course you’ll learn about all of the different factors that need to be considered when you have a duty of care in your health or social care role.
As you work your way through this five module course you will develop an understanding of how duty of care contributes to safe practice, some dilemmas that may arise regarding your duty of care and be able to deal with comments and complaints.
You’ll also look at how to deal with incidents, errors and near misses and understand how to deal with confrontation and difficult situations.
