Today, we can officially announce something we have been working hard on for the better part of a year – Project Sapphire! Over the past 13 years, one of the ways we have stayed at the forefront of the learning revolution has been through our secure, scalable and customisable learning management system, Blue LMS. Blue LMS is currently used by over 700,000 learners in organisations including the non-profit, public and private sectors. Our goal as an organisation is to keep getting better by providing you with the best learning experience and that’s why we’ve embarked on a new journey to bring you #ProjectSapphire. What is Project Sapphire? Project Sapphire is our new learning management system that will be available to all our customers and the general public in the fourth quarter of this year. Our developers have worked tirelessly to create a learning platform that keeps quality content at the centre of the learning experience. In the coming weeks, we will unveil more details on our exciting new LMS. But here’s a little bit on what you can look forward to. What you can expect This new learning management system is:

  • Secure and scalable – Built on the latest AWS cloud architecture
  • Flexible – API driven to allow seamless integration with other cloud-based platforms
  • Accessible – Designed to WCAG 2.1 AA standards
  • The LMS will also include:

  • New achievements such as badges to be awarded with flexible completion
  • Full audit trail
  • Course versioning and course sharing
  • Full control of system terminology and language
  • A media library for sharing multiple media types across workspaces
  • A new Event Booking system
