Care act – Personal budgets
Topics include: Personal budget, Indicative budget and Support plan.
Everyone whose needs are met by the local authority, whether those needs are eligible, or if the authority has chosen to meet other needs, must receive a personal budget as part of the care and support plan, or support plan.
Personal budgets must be provided for adults with eligible needs for care and support, and for carers with eligible needs. This module looks at how the support may be provided and what a personal budget can be used for.
