Accelerating digital transformation at Northumbria Police

Northumbria Police were looking to drastically reduce staff training time for a new command and control solution which was to be implemented as part of a major five-year programme to replace a number of legacy systems, some of which were 35 years old.

They wanted to use technology-led learning to support the roll out of the new control room solutions, STORM and Aspire, and the associated new ways of working. Me Learning deployed a digital transformation solution that helped them reduce their training timeline from 18 months to six months. It also enabled them to have a sustainable, interactive solution that has been incorporated into induction programmes for new officers and staff.

A transformation project to future-proof new starters

Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council were aware that their steady churn of employees had resulted in a constant need to get new starters up to speed on basic system functionality. This not only consumed valuable resources but also hindered the ability of new starters to maximise their potential on the job.

Recognising the importance of empowering their staff, the council aimed to ensure training opportunities were accessible to all employees. With limited resources available, they turned to the expertise of Me Learning to create a technology-driven training solution which would accelerate the competency and confidence of their existing employees as well as providing an ongoing training platform that could support the development of new staff.

Revolutionising Health Data Management

Three partner organisations – Channel 3 Consulting, Grant Thornton UK LLP and Me Learning – joined forces to deliver a programme of transformation work aiming to improve the way activity data is captured and used at the four main NHS providers of community services in North West London.

This has improved the accuracy and consistency of activity data available to inform key decisions affecting patients. Staff have greater understanding on why and how information is recorded and used and are spending less time on data input.

The programme, which commenced in 2022, has improved the way data is captured and used by the four trusts. Data is now recorded, reported and used consistently across all four organisations and in line with national standards.

Empowering Pharma Professionals to optimise processes

When a global biopharmaceutical company introduces a new way of working, this requires meticulous planning and execution. They wanted a digital training package which would empower medical and healthcare professionals to work more collaboratively, optimise processes, and deliver exceptional care solutions to those in need.

We worked with our client to develop an innovative digital learning solution, aimed at fostering a cohesive understanding on Agile, an outcome that was in line with their transformation goals.

A positive culture change and an empowered skilled workforce

National Museums of Liverpool made a critical decision to embark on a digital transformation journey to move most of their in-person training online, with the help of Me Learning.

Every year since the start of this relationship, their workforce of over 650 employees has continued to build a variety of skills and knowledge on relevant topics using online learning. Now looking back, their decision to work with Me Learning has led to a major culture change in the way training is embraced across the seven museums and galleries making up National Museums of Liverpool (NML).

National Museums Liverpool incorporates: International Slavery Museum, Lady Lever Art Gallery, Maritime Museum, Museum of Liverpool, Sudley House, Walker Art Gallery, and World Museum.
