Communication and behavioural learning specialist Roger Ayres has joined Me Learning to lead a brand-new division which will coach and train on key behavioural skills for business.

Through this exciting new venture, Roger will work with individuals and small groups to help them understand how to accurately read a situation when interacting with others, and then focus on strategies to adapt voice, body language, energy and mindset to achieve the best results.

He brings 24-years’ experience of training and coaching in some of the biggest and best-known organisations in the UK and beyond. As a former actor, Roger’s approach is highly practical and he helps individuals focus on their presence, so they can perform at their best.

Roger Ayres, Director of Behavioural Learning, Me Learning says:

“Whether it is pitching for an important deal online, standing up to present to hundreds of people or negotiate the pay rise you deserve, it’s vital to understand the situation and be able to adapt your style and delivery, even when you are under pressure. Our training is about providing people with the confidence to remain authentic and at the same time equip them with the techniques they need to really shine.

“Now more than ever, the majority of our interactions are online which immediately makes it trickier to notice body language or hold informal discussions to get that all important feedback. This is why we have decided to launch this new opportunity with the virtual world very much in mind. As well as learning how to perform in a traditional business environment, we will help learners develop some tried and tested techniques which will help them interact effectively online.”

Nick Richards, Me Learning CEO says:

“I am absolutely delighted that Roger is joining us at Me Learning. His experience and knowledge of behavioural learning will complement our existing expertise and offer something genuinely new and exciting for our clients.

“Me Learning has been at the cutting-edge of training developments for more than 14 years and we work hard to make all our learning engaging and fun. I am confident that Roger’s style and considerable experience in the business environment will provide learners with a new opportunity to master a much wider range of techniques.”

All courses will be tailored to the needs of individual organisations and can include:

  • Using Emotional Intelligence
  • Personal Presence – gravitas and confidence
  • Influencing skills – difficult conversations, conflict resolution
  • Management skills – feedback, coaching skills and motivating others
  • Presentation skills – including interviews, storytelling and facilitation
