Esme is an Illustrator/Designer. She’s worked on illustration and design projects for web, print and animation; working in a wide range of styles. At Me Learning she supports the Learning production team with course design and also helps the Marketing team with any graphics they may need. Outside of work Esme likes too draw and to spend lots of time with her cat Dusty.

Shirley Berry
Shirley plays a key role in Me Learning’s expansion into new markets. In 2019, she began by driving our work into the Health and Emergency Services sector. She now helps our private sector clients with our innovative learning solutions especially when they want to do something different. Outside work, she dotes on her cats, enjoys time with her partner and her big family of 7 siblings, 16 nieces and nephews, 16 great-nieces and nephews, and 1 great-great nephew.

Martin Janes
Martin has a rich background spanning 20 years in Project Management and User Experience design. He fosters a common understanding of the challenges we face with our products, consistently advocates for the users who use them, and enjoys simplifying and pragmatically solving issues as we develop the products. Outside of work, Martin loves the analogue joys of portrait and landscape art and year-round sea swimming.

Michael Simpson
Michael is one of our Senior Learning Designers, crafting creative and engaging learning experiences that make an impact. He’s always been passionate about learning – before joining us in 2022, he spent several years teaching in South Korea, Hong Kong, and here in the UK. A keen runner outside of the office, Michael clocked over 1,000 miles last year – though he’s still holding out on that first marathon!

Iain Gray
Iain is our Learning Design Lead, responsible for ensuring that the content in our courses is clear, accurate, and engaging. With a background in scriptwriting and journalism, he has a knack for turning complex information into something easy to understand and enjoyable to learn. Outside of work, Iain continues his decade-long quest to complete his country music concept album based on the American Civil War.

Head of Finance
Alexandra How
Alex plays a key role in Me Learning’s finance function, making sure the numbers add up and everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From invoicing customers, processing supplier payments to handling employee pay, tax returns and financial statements, she supports a wide range of teams across the business. Whether it’s a regular task or a one-off finance query, Alex is always happy to help. Outside of work, she enjoys long walks with her dog Rolo, making celebration cakes and travelling to new places for adventures.

Head of Service & Support Desk
Scott Eager
Scott heads our service desk and support team, who work exceptionally hard to ensure every issue is not only responded to promptly, but is seen through to speedy resolution. A large part of what helps Me Learning stand out, with regards it’s support, is Scott’s personable and efficient approach, enabling us to have a first response time that falls just under 15 minutes. Outside of work, you will find Scott, if not out on his canoe or paddle board on the river Adur watching the local wildlife, playing squash or just enjoying walks in the local area.

Anya Wangsuwan
Bringing a blend of Marketing expertise and Graphic Design flair, Anya works across all areas to keep Me Learning’s branding and communications sharp and consistent. She supports everything from PR and SEO to social media, email campaigns and events, bringing both creativity and strategy to the table. Outside of work, you’ll find her on long walks, lost in a good book, or searching for the perfect cheese scone.
