At Me Learning, we specialise in creating tailored, outcomes-focused, digital, and blended learning solutions that help emergency services organisations embed software and new ways of working.
We support over 100,000+ learners
Helping you embed software and accelerate transformation
An important part of this is how we are equipping workforces across the police and FRS sector with the skills and the confidence to get the most out of technology.
With our extensive expertise and experience in supporting large, complex, multi-faceted change programmes, we can help you achieve software adoption and a return on investment in a way which supports your workforce’s wellbeing during times of change.
Why Me Learning
We specialise in cutting-edge training solutions for police learners.
Our learning solutions are carefully tailored to match the needs of the digital policing environment and mirror the way individuals choose to interact with the world today.
Because our training solutions can be accessed anywhere, at any time and on any device with an internet connection, they are bringing greater efficiency and effectiveness to the police training environment. Our learning is always underpinned with secure and compliant processes.
Training is easily deployed at scale, which is particularly relevant as police services plan for an uplift of 50,000 new officers over the next few years. We understand that digital technology is transforming policing by helping officers to fight crime and protect our communities.
Supporting the emergency services when it matters most
We work with emergency services to embed digital learning and accelerate transformation across their workforce.
Here’s how we’ve made a difference:
A major transformation initiative at national police service
A suite of tailored digital training by Me Learning is helping 10,000 police officers at a national police and security service embed new ways of working and build vital skills on Saab UK’s unified control room software solution, SAFE.
The national police service involved needed an extensive programme of digital learning to support the implementation by Saab UK, so they could reduce abstractions from duties, deliver training within a tight timeline and provide facilities to train future new starters.
Me Learning worked with Saab UK to design, develop and deliver an extensive suite of digital learning to support the transformation programme. The programme is designed to enhance the safety of the public and the client’s workforce. All police officers are following a digital and blended learning pathway appropriate to the way they use SAFE in their role.
Northumbria Police: Digital training to support system implementation.
- We create interactive 3,870 people trained in total
- 670 control room staff (with accompanying face-to-face training)
- 3,200 other staff (digital learning only)
- 75% reduction to training time compared to traditional training
Northumbria Police were looking to drastically reduce staff training time for a new command and control solution which was to be implemented as part of a major five-year programme to replace a number of legacy systems, some of which were 35 years old.
How to ensure a smoother implementation and quicker adoption of software
In any complex system, effective training is key to success. This article written by Shirley Berry, our Director Strategic Solutions, highlights a critical issue in software implementations, particularly in high-pressure environments like control rooms. Training often gets neglected or isn’t addressed early enough.
When your new software and ways of working are adopted and embedded, your employees will be more comfortable and confident, which means they’re also more productive. And you’ll achieve benefits and return on investment.
To ensure a smoother implementation and quicker adoption of software, it is crucial to prepare colleagues adequately from the start.
